[align=left]Groups of 20 to 100 male mosquitoes can be found in small caves or root pockets.
Their leg span is about four inches with bodies near 1/2 inch. During the day, they
hide out connected together by their legtips or between strands of a spider's web.
It is a bit difficult to photograph them clearly as they all pulsate vigorously as one
mass constantly. I guess this motion protects them , making all of them appear as
a single, larger creature. Males do not bite. It is only the much smaller females that
suck our blood.

I had to adjust luminosity to add light as the large root pocket was
almost pitch black. Yes, I did brighten it too much.
Only had the on board flash when an external may have
provided much greater lighting. Will try again as I enjoy
the challenge of capturing these bugs with better clarity.
Thank you Rudy for your fair and true critique.

Is there an interest for pics of plumeria flowers??
