Yesterday our Budgie was roaming the living room again, and decided to set himself down more than 20cm from my face so I could experiment with the macro setting on the Tamron.

Thinking a macro at 1m would be a joke turned out quite well (imho).

The original version has amazing details and bokeh. I was about to try some indoor easy birdie shot this time of yr. You beat me to that.

Flicker allows full size pict? You have one of the pro account newly introduced?

yep got a new type of flicker account.

I got the pro account 3 month's back and don't know if they have a newer version, but think they would have upgraded it.

There are still limitations, max 5Mb per picture and 2Gb/month. And the 5MB limitation comes from the upload system they use.
