You are most welcome,

I enjoy your posts and you would do well with any camera. I have seen your posts way back with the Panasonic FZ15 which replaced your FZ20 I believe went a missing.

You are doing very well with the K10.

How do you like the jpeg resolution from this camera? The reason I ask is I don't do much RAW caputures and I don't do much in the way of LARGE prints.

Mahalo,

Tom

Thanks very much Tom. I appreciate the comments. Well I shoot mostly RAW, and haven't done much jpg shooting with this camera, but I did take a few of those eagle shots in jpg, and I think the resolution and IQ is just fine. The reason I shoot RAW is mainly for WB correction, and exposure leeway--you can save some overexposed photos whereas if they were in jpg, probably not. Shooting wildlife doesn't always give you the time to get the exposure correct, so it's nice to have the RAW photo to make up for exposure mistakes-as long as they're not too extreme.

I really like the k10d. It's an excellent tool, and Pentax designed this camera very very well. And now with the firmware updated, all my wishes have been answered. I wanted a quick ISO change for the last 3 cameras I've owned, and now I have it at a spin of the wheel.......cheers........Don

I like the goose, but that head-on of the black bird has a lot of character. You just don't see that view too often.
