This is Bernie, my sisters dog. Shot a couple of him today so I thought I'd post one. Shot with a DL and 77mm f1.8 limited lens. I'd love to see some of you pet owners post some too!
Wow! My sister has a dachsund that looks exactly like your sisters dog! How old is he?
I'm not exactly sure but I would guess around 4 years or so.

Took this with a $10 sears 135 2.8 on a K100D in pretty low light and has been cropped. This is our cat after a fight. It is fun using old manual glass....more ofa challenge than ayto focus and aperture

Here's my dog Kelsey. I have tons of shots of him, but took this one with a FA50mm f1.4.

I have a three shot series for one of my two cats. His name is Sam. He's just about to fall a sleep and his eyes are starting to cover over, or roll back, i'm not sure which it is...

This Yorkie belongs to my wife's aunt, but I love him. He's a great lap dog.

Taken with my $10.60 (after taxes) SMC Pentax-M 50mm 1:1.7, kinda blew out the highlights a little. Still working on getting my manual exposures right.

Its been over 5 years since Shane has looked ike this but once did at about 8
weeks.

Looking at the paws you can guess probably he is now 85lbs, and (length) med height human standing on 2 legs.
