I like this one. Don't know why, but it has a certain appeal.

Just guess (400mm) yes, but Peicans are interesting... used to humans (and in fishing areas thankful for tossed fish scraps)...

As long as you don't get too close, then they become very teratorial and defensive (you don't want to be near that beak, in that mode!!)!.... not quite an allagator... but dangerous.

Sadly that makes them VERY difficult to rescue when they have swallowed an CARELESSLY cut and discarded nylon fishing line.

PS SNOOKED.... having a statePark Pass.... you are really making me miss I haven't been up to John Loyd is quite some time..... a shame is is so stuck in the otherwise middle of the MIA/FTL quagmire....

But that mid area (Hollywood/Dania) is the area I ESCAPE to if not stay in when up that way. (Is the Dania Beach Hotel finally gone?)
