Very nice color and sharpness. How do you like CS3 Beta compared to CS2?

I'm not an expert with either but CS3 appears to boot up faster and be more responsive, which I like. Whether I upgrade to Cs3 depends upon how much it's going to cost otherwise I'll just stick with CS2 as it does all that I'll ever need.

All very nice! The kit lens does a good job with shots like this and you made the most of it.

I saw that they've announced the price of Lightroom and are starting to take pre-orders. $199 for pre-orders and $299 street value is beyond what I'm willing to spend at this point (sigh!). I'm disappointed - I really liked the beta version and was hoping I could afford it. I feel the same way about CS3 - I'll probably skip it and wait for CS4, unless they offer a really discounted upgrade.

Cheers for that.

These shots were taken in RAW format and converted using PPL v2 which only supports up to *istDS.

I have Lightroom beta installed but seldom use it as I can't get such consistent good results across a wide range of subjects when batch converting muliple images.

So unless my beta version expires, Lightroom will be destined to the 'bin'.

Wonderfull landscape photography. I especially like the shots of the pier and looking down the esplanade. Very nicely framed.
