Great birding shots Roger. I like the 2nd and 3rd shots the best. Funny story too.

Great photos. Meadowlarks were common where I grew up in Iowa, but don't see em here in GA. Nice to see em again.

Wow! Sure do like these- the meadowlark looks like it will fly out of my monitor. And the detail on the blackbird is impressive - I envy you your talent with such a long lens.
