beautiful shot tom. did you manually focus for this shot? i know sometimes my autofocus will get lost in the branches.

The Pentax 1.4x-S TC is manual focus only, so I had no choice but to MF. It got so cold that only about half othe 20 shots (I posted two others in a different thread) were really sharp because I couldn't hold the camera steady, but at least I got my photo fix for a few days.

I guess it is going to get about 10 degrees colder for the next week or so.

Burrr - I won't tell you that they are talking about possible wide-spread 80 F temps in the Los Angeles area next week - that would be way too painful for you, wouldn't it?
