I do not have any more pictures of the train. I mostly took pictures of the buildings and misc. other stuff. The train would have been a pain to get to.

Here are some more pictures of what I called the "Train station". Inside of the building in theback there was an elevator. So a maintain shop sounds good.

This is a picture of the offices in the building. These pictures were really bad but the sign painted on the door says "Elect. Shop"

I believe I found the name of the location. Ensley Works, TCI

Ensley Works, TCI, battery of first four furnaces as they appeared in 1890. Note log cabins of workers in foreground (Birmingham Public Library).

I was pretty sure that this was a steel mill - years ago I toured a working mill in Fontana. If you think the your "planter" is impressive in its current state, imagine it full of molten steel, being tipped over and the bright liquid flowing into molds for wire or rails, flowing down through the various other stations. It's an awesome sight.
