What's up all. I was flying back to NYC from orlando a few weeks ago on business, and brought my Pentax *ist DL with me. Had my camera bag on the plane and the timing was good, so I shot some pics. Let me know what you all think. I was using the Pentax 35mm f2.0 lens (which I absolutely love).

The third one is my favorite, although it was hard to pick just one. Excellent pictures, all of them, great color!

You did good!

'Getting out on the wing', or the pilot to bank the aircraft down on your side, would have given you more detail of the sky, but I guess that would have been a tad difficult.

The last image in the sequence is real corker.

Very nice images. How did you manage to get such clear pictures out of an airplane window? I've often found that the "glass" is not so clear, and is often dusty and dirty as well. Jay

These are really neat - your way of using the wing in the picture is different and worked out well (my opinion, I'm sure there are others who will think differently). The colors are outstanding!

First off, thank you for all your positive responses.. I appreciate it

As far as the glass, I have no idea how the airplane "glass" did not hinder the quality of the pictures much. In a couple of the shots in the series, the reflection of the sun does show up but in most of these shots its not an issue. This was my biggest concern when taking the shots though. I guess I got lucky.

Also, I did the best I could to keep the shots varied as I couldnt just get up and move around taking pics. I hope that shows in these shots.

And yes, If I were out on the wing, I would have DEFINITELY had a clearer view :?
