First nice day in a long time today. Took to the nearby zoo, but not overwhelmed by the result. On my way back I stumbeled over this 200 mtrs from home.:-)I made a try with the Pentax SMC Shift 28 mm lens I haven't been able to use since I bought it in December because of lousy weather. Made a few brackets as well, I will try HDR later.

Well, yes, and that's what I bought it for. For this shot it allowed me to keep the horizon low without distorting the tree a lot. But I used it mainly to try it. I took a couple of shots with the 16-45 as well, and I must say the shift lens is well on par with that one when it comes to sharpness and contrast.

Kjell

Edit: Actually I tried a week ago, when there was a couple of hours of sun. The local church.

Love your tree - I wouldn't do an HDR with it at all (love silhouettes). The church is cool - that shift lens does do nice things to architecture.
