Circular polarizer sounds like a great idea - never thought about trying one. Since the problem is reflected light, and the polarizer will deal with much of that, it sounds more "foolproof" than my method of "guestimating".

The polarizer works great at car shows in High sun also. But you already knew this....:G

They were all JPEG. The snow pictures were lightened and had some contrast added, but the people pictures were pretty much right out of the camera, except for some cropping.
