I have a showing of my own photographs at the local art gallery. The manager of the local arts centre (Theatre and gallery) informed me that his February exhibit had cancelled so I could use it. I hurriedly put together a display of 17 8" X 10" prints, 2 11" X 14" prints and a triptych of 5" X 7" black and whites. The images are about 1/2 mine and the rest are my wife Annette's. I have a small sample of what is on display at my blog site (and I will post the rest there later).

I am waiting to see what reactions it will draw from viewers.

Ira and Annette,

Some really neat pictures. What I like best is they are all of normal things. Life is always fun to photograph and it is nice to see how you were able to make life look good!

Congrats, Ira (and Anette, of course)! Remind us when all the exhib photos are on your site. Those you already posted are well worth the attention an exhibition will draw.

Very nice Ira.

Are you having a opening with cheese and wine and all that?

Good luck with the show.

Wow! Of course, I've always loved your pictures so I'm not surprised that they would ask you to step in. I'm sure it will be successful, and you are right - it would be interesting to see what pictures the visitors like the best. Too bad you are way up there and I'm way down here - if we were separated by so many miles I'd love to see these pictures full sized.
