Kind of cheesy, but here is my daugther getting her Valentine hearts ready for tomorrow.

Taken with 540 FGZ flash and FA 35mm F2.

Ahhh - she's cute, and it fits the theme of having a heart. Not cheesy at all.

I like the attempt. It is very clean. I also like the choice of authors!

Here we go, Food for Thought, oops, wrong topic. Make that Have a Heart (for dessert).

My humble entry from our Valentie's day meal.

Hello all! Sorry that it's been a while but I just saw the challenge & thought of this shot from a couple of weeks ago & had to go with it. This is my stepdaughter & our new pup...talk about "Have a Heart"...lol!

Hope everyone had a nice St. Valentine's Day!

Ira - can I come to your home for desert? Sure looks good!

Ron - That's definitely having a heart. What a sweet looking puppy (well, ALL puppies are sweet looking).

It looks like it will be a while before I see my laptop back, so I don't have CS2 handy. My hubby's computer doesn't have much memory and is slow, so it doesn't look like I'll be pp many pictures from the K10 - tried it last night and it had problems. This one ended up getting resized with Microsoft Office Photo Manager - not exactly a brilliant graphics program, very limited (but it comes as part of Microsoft Office, which I do have on my work computer). I wonder if AutoCAD (another work program)would scale a raster image and have it look halfway OK? Maybe I'll try that next time. Original picture shot in raw, converted with PhotoLab.

Since I'm so limited, this is all I could come up with. I know, not exactly my best effort, but I wanted to post something!

P.S. Forget it - the picture looks terrible, looks like I'll wait until my laptop gets fixed or replaced.

I must admit it was at a local hotel resturant, but it was good.

By far the best idea I have seen and the idea even got POTD here with using a wedding band as the prop.
