I would hate to have that happen to my car, but it sure does look cool. I especially like the lat one with the radio antenna that would make a bowling ball look skinny. With all that thick ice everywhere, it's funny to see bare ground in front of that bench!

No. I did not take that. Somebody did that with a p&s . Not even Pentax which is a sin. I am surprised about the antenna sticking out like that

Daniel

Edited later:

It is also likely a spam of some scene a little while ago. Maybe.
Somebody emailed that to me.
But such scene is entirely physically possible.I saw something similar in Niagara Fall area by the Fall when water (blown from strong wind) quickly froze. Also I saw that in urban area when there was a fire. Firetruck sprayed building with water which quickly froze

It is unreal looking--almost like it is an altered (photoshopped) picture. I'm sure glad I don't have to walk on that stuff.

The advantage of living in Northern Wisconsin is we rarely get that kind of ice. That will usually knock out your power for quite a few days with all the trees that fall from the weight of the ice.

Looks nifty, but is now fun.

Beautiful in a strange way. But I wouldn't like to come out a little late in the morning, being in a hurryto go to work and find my car in that kind of wrapping...

Ok. That is the sequel. Somebody recalled that it was a spam of old pict of

http://www.skyandsummit.com/Glacegen.../DSCN7718.html

coming from

http://www.skyandsummit.com/Glacegeneve/index.html

The event allegedly took place in 2005.

But awesome pict and impressive sight. At least they are not p s stuff.

I am still not 100% sure.

I think Tom is in Wisconsin. How bad was the weather last few days?
