I've always been snooping around for the FA Limited's (31,43,and 77), but never took a stab at purchasing them. Seemed very expensive as I'd more than likely be buying from the U.S., and having to pay shipping, taxes and exchange. But I found a Canadian outlet that had all 3 listed, and all at more or less the same price as the American counterparts, but in the Canadian buck! This means a 15% discount! Well being curious, I called them up, and yes they do carry all 3, had the 31 (the one I wanted the most), in stock with the other 2 arriving within the next couple of weeks. :-) Being the silly bu__er I am, I order all 3. The 31 should be here next week, with the others to follow in a couple more weeks or so. :?

So now I have the dilemma of unloading a couple of lenses. I guess the 50-200 and 16-45 could both be toast. I rarely use either of them, so might end up unloading them. I have a 16mm fisheye if I want to go wide, so am asking myself why keep lenses around I don't or won't use. I'll have to see how my LBA goes, and if I can part with them. Errrrr.....bills and decisions....cheers.......Don

Wow. You are right. That's a very bad case of LBA. You should be hospitalized! Hehehe. Have fun with your limiteds. Can't wait to see some pics. I'm particularly interested in the 77mm.

Well now I'm intrigued. Where did you end up purchasing them from? If the prices on the Limited lenses are that good, then maybe the rest of their prices are worth looking at.

I don't know about the other limiteds, but you're going to LOVE the 77mm 1.8 limited. It's an awesome piece of glass. The best lens I own and I wouldnt sell it for the world.

Let me tell you, the 31 mm is the worst crap you can get. Send it to me and I'll make sure you will never have to bother about it again.

Congratulation.
Your LBA is not so bad. Another dpreview forum member have 2 sets of them , chrome and black. At least you have been thinking about unloading your zoom. But once you think in terms of the FoV of the prime /Limited, you may just leave your zoom behind. You will love and use them to post more pict for us
