I've never found cormorants to be photogenic but this shot came out pretty well.



A self exploding duck!



Thanks to a tip from a birding friend from flickr, I was able to track down and get a shot of a Black Crowned Night Heron.



Look at those bloody eyes.

VERY nice..... wish you had included the lens/exposure info.... though I suppose if I DL them the EXIF is probably there.

Super shots Roy!! Love that night heron. What a beauty that is. Which lens? You have the Sigma APO don't you? If it's that lens, you've got a great copy! Wish mine had been that sharp when I owned it. Not even close....cheers.......Don

don,
that's not me, but yes, Hung(royce) does have a great copy of this lens. i did for awhile havethe APOnon-DG sigme70-300 but i NEVER got results such as these.

Hung, VERY nice shots!!!! think i may move out there..

Those are beautiful. That heron is particularly nice, but the others aren't too shabby either!

All very nice (as usual) - those gulls sure loved that bread, and your commentary really adds to them. The night heron closeup is awesome!
