Saw these two threads posted at dpreview. Don't ask me. I'm a coward when it comes to these things. Then again, I'm still amazed that after 2 years my Ds still works perfectly.

Thats cool!

If you set the CARDDOOR OPEN to EN you can use the camera with the SD door open.
Quite a few times I've not noticed the door was open and missed a shot because when its open the camera turns off or goes into a sleep mode.
Don't take out the SD card though!!!
Just tried the SWITCH TEST which tests all the buttons.
Good to see they are all working, lol :-)

There's heaps of cool stuff on those menus, a lot of which I have no clue about, but I'm sure someone will figure it out.
