Big Ears small Antlers

Young Mule Deer Bucks seem to grow their ears full size way before their antlers reach full size.

I laughed for a while when I downloaded this photo. For what ever reason I thought this is one funny photo.

Roger, As usual some really pretty pictures ofa beautiful animal. I like #3 because it reminds me of the typical country guy whoknows how to relax and enjoy a good blade of grass! #4 looks like he posed and knew you were taking his picture!

Hayward, thanks for the nice comment and for taking the time to look.

I was using my Sigma 50 - 5000. No tripod or monopod.

Wow. Those are some big ears! About the size of his head really. Hehehe. I guess that helps him to keep an ear out for predators...or photographers for that matter. Heheh.

Hi royce, it is no wonder they hear so good with ears that big. Thanks for looking and for commenting.
