Finally Shadow Trophies Become Keepers

There are some 4 ridges like the one in the background photo that I have spent a lot of time on trying to catch these two shadows. Since the first of the year I have seen them numerous times before daylight and after sunset and always in the dark timber. All I could see was shadows moving in the timber. I have been on each of the 4 ridges many, many times trying to catch them in the light. They don't get this big making themselves available.

Today, all the time and effort finally paid off. Here are some big boys. These are free ranging on public land.

Pentax K10D with my Sigma 50-500mm

Though to find em in the photos, but the third photo showed enough of the background that I was able to locate em in the others. Couple of nice mulies. Glad you stuck it out to get em.

Roger ---- you never fail to amaze me with your photos. You and the Pentax K10D seemed to be joined at the hip
