Hi,

just a collection of shots I took this week - nothing really special, not searching for a theme just looking around.

Enjoy - Ronny

Great Tit - one of the most common small birds where I live

Cormorant - The last years these guys have made their appearance,
(to the dislike of many fishers)

Goat Willow - (a bit early in the year) -
(one of Maria's favourite things in the sound of music)

Reed with some backlighting

Found also some -8- Heron Nest, although all occupied only in one shot the heron was sharp enough to keep.
Just lucky that they start nesting so soon, otherwise whenn those trees get their leaves back I woudn't have spotted them.

larger versions and exif data can be found on this flickr set

Really like this set - the cormorant is an interesting looking bird, and well done spotting the heron nest. It looks like you are having an early spring - do you suppose it will last or will it get cold again in March? I keep thinking winter is here but then it warms up again - wish it would make up its mind!

Love your pictures.

Thanks mntgal,

about having an early spring I don't dare to say, the temp has been rather high all winter; now its a nice 14°C / 57°F sun included. Last week it dropped at night to -6°C / 21°F, then we got our first snow (for 2 hours).

I don't even dare to speculate about the weather.

Those are all nice and sharp, with great contrast. The willow is great!
