Baby Elk (Frosty Ears) & a Pigeon

K10D with Sigma 50 - 500MM

Mom was up in the dark timber and I never could get in position to get the both of them so I picked the baby.

Before daylight and not much light.

I enjoyed the I don't know what to do now look.

On the way home I found this character sitting on a wall.

Darn I was visualizing the pigeon sitting on the elk.

At feeding times, seagull get very competitive with the Pelicans and will sit on there back and pester them hoping they will drop their fish.

Loved the photos. Keep em coming. It's better than spending seven bucks to sit in a movie theater :-) Hey Roger, you're making me want one of these Bigma's for my K10D.

Please just keep them coming, and might I add, they just seem to get better and better. Congratulations!

I really wish you'd stop posting these photos. You are pushing me to want one of those lens really bad, and my budget says don't do it.

Great photos.
