My brother came over yesterday and we wash both of our cars. Afterwards, he asked me to take a picture of his car. It was night time already and his car was parked under a streetlight. I used a tripod and shot in RAW inorder to compensate for the funky yellow lighting.

(k100d and smc-da 18-55mm kit lens)

Excellent clean shots.

My first thought after seeing these was inspite of SR maybe I should be using monopod for birds in the wild.

Royce, those are really nice! Its hard to get night photos that look good and still look like what one really sees at night, but you did it. White balanceis spot on.

These are cool, and a good example of what the kit lens can do. I really like the second one - the stars from the headlights is really neat.
