My Sigma 70-300 DG APO lens arrived today! Hurrah!

However, I don't have any Pentax camera to use it with at the moment. I just sold my *ist DL to get the money for the K100D, but it ended up going towards this lens. I'm going to purchase a K100D when I get my next paycheck at the end of this month. It's going to be torture to watch the lens just sitting around for about 20 more days.

Doh! No camera body to put that nice lens onto. That is torture! Well 20 days will go quickly. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming pics.

Yeah well I am getting real tired of tunnel vision on my replacement for stolen K10D too.

Ended up getting the non kit version (though credited pretty well in the end) it was supposed to be....

Stuck with 70-300mm only.... and have really ached over wide shots I have not been able to get.... hopefully my SIGMA 18-50mm will be here Friday.... though knowing UPS :? not til Mon. or Tues to use up their full 7days ground.

It may be torture, but it will be worth it, I love my K100D and Sigma 70-300 DG APO, so will you.

It's funny how one notices all the missed photo ops when without a camera. So far, I've noticed a perfect sunset the other day and a bicycle race (Tour of California) that passed through San Luis today. I've had much angst since selling the camera.

Or as I also said no more fun to have the camera but , not the even basic lens needed you are visualizing an image as.

OK I get SOME and you get none... but I hear ya. :-)
