The one question I haveabout the DA35. Is it a .5:1 or a 1:1 macro? The older macro's were .5:1, but the newer DFAonesare1:1. Maybe if somebody here gets to the show, they could add it to their list of questions to ask. It looks like it has electronic aperture only, like the DA40 andI assume 49mm filter threads- Bruce

Oh baby. That 300mm f4 looks mighty good to me. Tack on a 1.4x TC, and I think I would be good to go for my birding photography. Hrm. Now if I can only wait till september....

Anyone has any idea if participants of the show are allowed to take pict from the new lens to be released? Probably not I believe. So really there is not much purpose to go at all? Cost wise going over there that weekend is not prohibitive. But I will not get more info that whatever I can from the web.
