Tried to get some decent kids hockey shots behind dirly acrylic shield. Next time I will try some location where I can have clear shots

I have to jack it up to iso1600 and F7 to get through the blurry shield. Still learning how to do this type of shot

I love their jersey. Beautiful

Daniel, the shots turned out well. I can't really tell that it was shot behind acrylic. You've also frozen the action well and the white balance looks good! Nice work. Jay

Well done, Daniel. I agree with Jay, you really can't tell there was glass there.

Nice pictures, you've done well shooting through the pexiglass. They are cute kids - do they get donuts with those jerseys?

Glenn, Jim, Jelpee & Harriet,

Thanks for looking. That Coffee place is everywhere in Canada. It is almost like a hockey icon now.

Nice shot Daniel.

I tried my hand at some ice rink shots when my sone was learning to skate. Right when I just bought the *ist DL, needless to say the wb was off on most all the shots. Using the kit lens. Would like to try my hand at it now.

Given enough light, I do not see any limitation about Pentax doing fast action shots. The inflight shots from you and Royce prove that. Puny buffer may be an issue except maybe K10D. There are always workaround. Shooting jpg instead of raw helps.
