20 inches of snow in one storm IS a bit much, even for me. Those woods look very inviting - like I want to grab my snowshoes and go exploring. All of our snow is gone, went hiking through the mudthis past weekend instead of snowshoeing. It's supposed to snow tonight/tomorrow but it will all be melted before the weekend, and no more snow in the long range forecast. This year is turning out to be a bust as far as snow goes.

Thanks for sharing some of yours with me.

As always, you are showing the winter's pretty face. :-)

We had freezing rain, with wind, followed by 20" of snow and temperatures of around 30F during the day. I spent 3+ hours this weekend clearing snow, ice and getting really wet. For the next weekend they are forecasting the same. I want my -24F degrees back. Now you have the right picture :blah:

8 - 20 inches, hehe - if that would happen over here they would have to close the country down.
We had some weeks back 2 inches and they couldn't keep the traffic going (rofl)

Nice shot's - Ronny

Funny enough, it is the same over here! Dire warnings about not venturing outdoors unless absolutely necessary!!!. 2-3 inches of white stuff.

Our forecast is for 3 to 5 inches on Wednesday and the same on Thursday this week. So, another 6 to 10 inches--don't know where I'm going to pile it this time.

Rudy - could you send about 6 inches our way? Then it might last longer than a couple of hours. It was snowing when I left for work this morning but anything that stuck melted before I got home. Actually I wouldn't turn my back on 30" in one night again - that's the only day we've taken a day off since we moved up here (I managed to get a Jeep Wrangler high centered on the built up packed snow under the frame - the snow bank in front of our driveway that I was trying to drive through was almost as high as the top of the hood). I could use an unscheduled day off about now.
