I just bought the Promaster 7500DX Digitalflash which the salesman swears that it is for my K10D DSLR Camera and it does have P-TTL on the switch where you turn Flash on.So I should be ready to go .I did notice with the on-board flash that the K10D does not seem to have enought power but I turned the ISO up to 800,left all other settings like they wereand the pictures were great with the on-board flash. I haven't tried the new flash out yet ,so I will hope the flash is as good as the numbers say they are.

I sent a e-mail to the Promaster web site about the Promaster 7500 DX Flash to their expert and this is his reply;

The Promaster 7500DX flash for Pentax digital cameras #6335 is compatible with the
Pentax *ist DL, DS, K100D and K110D but due to a change in the flash system of the
K10D this flash will consistantly under expose 1 to 1.5 stops on the K10D.
The new Promaster 7500EDF for Pentax #7273 will be compatible with the K10D and
will also be backward compatible with Pentax SLR digital cameras that use P-TTL.
This flash is also firmware upgradable to keep it compatible with any future changes in
Pentax flash systems.
This flash is still about 60 days away from getting to the market.

I guess It goes back to Camera shop where I bought it.
