Very nice - love the sky!

The funny thing about panos is that recently I stitched together a 3 frame pano (taken with the DA 50-200 lens)of the area where I live. As I was getting ready to leave, I took another quick shot with the kit lens at 18mm. When I got home I pieced together the pano first and then looked at the picture taken wtih the kit lens and it covered the exact same area. All that work stitching it together with PS6, and I got the essentially the same thing with a wider lens (sigh).

If you kept the pano that was stitched at the original size, then the stitched pano would be much higher resolution than the single shot, allowing you to print the stitched pano much larger without losing IQ.
