About 15 inches on the grounf this morning. I've been shoveling, snowblowing and roof raking since 5 a.m. Here are a few shots from my garage (used my FZ10 for these since it is STILL SNOWIN (3 to 5 more inches today).

Yeah, but the trees look pretty nice:-)

I was 45 minutes late coming to work this morning. Under that white nice looking stuff there is 2 inch of ice.
Tip: those plastic snow shovels are garbage. I keep a metal digging shovel in the trunk, pretty heavy but it cuts through everything (careful with the tires).

I didn't even try to get to work today--the winds are pretty high and we are in a blizzard warning. I have to go 18 miles on county roads that have no wind breaks, so it would be foolish to even try to travel. By the time you reach my age, you realize getting stuck in a snowstrorm trying to get to work just isn't worth it.

I suggested that to my wife this morning but she wasn't convinced. We car pool to work and now I think she got it. We got stuck in the street 10 feet from the driveway. After 15 minutes of digging we were good to go.

I live on a hill and for two miles it was like a slalom. Hopefully we did not hit anything.
I hope they plow it until we head back otherwise we will have 2 miles of hiking with the kids.

From November to April I keep in the trunk a lot of survival stuff which takes about half of the space. I had to use it once for some folks that ended up in the ditch. It is best to stay home if one can thou.

Sorry guys! Here in Germany we have 40-60s and rain. Not too great and whats worse we have had virtually no snow all winter. Just a little would have been nice. On the other hand I'm not shoveling or freezing!
