Nice image Tom. I like the contrast of the red snowmobile against the pure white snow! Jay

You call that snow, ha!

Great shot. There is a snowmobiler's convention in town this weekend, riders from all over the island portion of the province converge here for quite a party.

I will try to get some photos tomorrow.

I know what you mean. Back around 7 yrs ago, Toronto had at one time 12" of snow or something like that. The former mayor called the Federal government to send army unit to help out. It has been a party joke for non-Torontonians ever since .

I do agree snow scene is beautiful particularly when there is a reasonable and manageable amount.

Looks like he's having fun, and won't have trouble getting around at all. We haven't seen that much snow in two years, and it's not looking like we will this year, either. All of our snow is gone and they are predicting warm weather and sunshine for the next couple of weeks. It looks like winter wasn't much this year (cold yes, snow no).

Nice capture with great color contrast.

It has been a really nice sunny day today. It dropped to 10F now, but I really prefer that to the mess we had last weekend.

I have been busy in the morning clearing some more snow but this time I decided to take K100D with Sigma 18-125mm for a spin. I wish I had a 2-stop ND filter for the lens. This is the only one wide open @ 125mm F5.6:

My best friend for the past days: too bad it decided to strike today which meant 2 hours of hard labor for me. March is when I really need this guy:

Street view of my house:

View from neighbor's driveway. The pile in the left corner was in excess of 5 compacted feet:

The hydrant is on my turf:

My backyard somewhere underneath:

Some had enough of me:-)

I have a 12hp, 39" show blower and a farmer friend with a 8' blower on his tractor.
Guess which one I use the most!
