Wonderful spring pictures! Jim - when I looked at the first one, I thought it was photoshoped where you had used sepia for the background and only had the bulbs for color, and then realized there was a hint of green in the trees. It's certainly an interesting picture.

Catbells - your flowers are wonderful, and I love your dafs.

Everything is still all brown around the house (we had snow earlier in the week, though I'm in shirt sleeves today), while things are starting to really bloom around work. It's getting about time for me to start thinking about where the wildflowers might be blooming soon.

Spring is alsocoming herein southern Germany. I saw a full bloomed azalea down the road. But what is even more exciting is two new lenses are coming on Thursday! I hope the weather stays as nice as it has been so I can get out with them! (DA 50-200, Sigma 100-300)

Dr. C, got to have your priorities straight. Summers coming so the window will be fine.

Mtngal, The first one was photoshoped to get the sepia. The original was looked ok, but after adjusting it in photoshop elements, I liked the sepia tones better. The original is below. Which one do you perfer?

Catbells, I like your flowers.

spring is so close here i just installed a new central air system. hopefully it will give me a break on the elec bill this summer.. a lot of you stay inside for winter. it's the opposite here.. summers are very brutal and they are getting worse.

The sepia version has more impact, though the original is nice too. Since we are talking art, I prefer the first one posted.
