it was also the weekend of Big Al's Poker Run, a cruise of hot rods, classics, old cars and a few kombis too
so between the 2 events i have been kind of busy
so far i have uploaded half the Big Al's photos to my site

Great photos. Just checked your site. Man you picked the right place to stand. All those classics coming by you.

Were they cruising very slow, or did you miss some?

I love old classics - so much more character and uniqueness than todays mas produced models.

I would like to see the names of the various models, Holdens and Aussie Fords are not familiar to those of us north of 0 degrees latitude.

Great shots though.

thanks for the comments

it is a fun event and the biggest and most diverse collection of cars in Perth
all for a $2.00 or $1.00 donation
you cant complain about the value

the photos so far were taken just before a checkpoint
so they were going slow or totally stopped in the traffic jam
and of course some stopped until you let them know you had their photo in the camera

i did think about getting the names of vehicles up there too
the ones i know anyway
but at the moment i am only half way through getting all the photos up
and i was trying to do it fast via cut and paste
i will do my best to fix that aspect as soon as i can
