I was able to get a clearer shot of one this morning. K100D with Sigma 400mm AF. I'm not the best at PP...

Both great shots. I had to turn the AF off when trying to get the long distance in-flight shots. They tended to be out of focus by the time the shutter snapped. I think it's that Sigma lens though. I'm not real happy with it.

It's just too bad I had such a terrible angle on him for the shot. Icouldn't move far enough to his right to get the sun behind me because of the river at that point.

It's an impressive shot, especially because of your difficult lighting conditions. Much better than anything I've done recently.
