What a fun walk, we are now going into mud season here, so walks are tough unless they are on blacktop.

Thanks for all the complements - maybe the hawk will come down a little lower and I'll be able to get a better picture of him. All winter I was thinking how boring my local forest is - it's pretty much all pine trees, and they don't change much. Sunday I saw it differently, glad I could capture that feeling so that someone else could see it, too.

Tom - I feel for you. Two weeks ago this same road was still closed, and when I walked it, it was really muddy. We haven't had all that much rain or snow, so it dried up quickly this year.

Nice shots. Like the one of the dirt biker coming round the corner. That *300 looks like a nice lens!
