Not happy with the DOF on this. Will have to try again later. Had to get back to 'work'.
Our graphics director said she could maybe use this for an ad.

It's a Lyra Skala. Only $3200.

These are nice! I think the second one is my favorite because it has a bit more DOF than the other two. But the color on the first one really stands out. And here I thought camera equipment was expensive - little did I know...

Nice Pics..

Yeah I dont think those would last in a DJ setup :-P you'd have to be crazy to even attempt to use something like that (considering the price range) to scratch vinyl on.. lol

Very very nice.. Id love to hear the sound of those things on a High end setup!

Thanks for the comments.

I don't have the 'audiophile ear' to hear a difference. My $60 Oyster works and sounds great on my system.

You should see our Koetsu line of cartidges. They won't even mount then unless the buyer requests it.

Thanks for the posts and nice reminder of what life was like back in the day! I remember buying magnetic cartridges, getting the tracking all right, then having some friend drag the needle over the record and wreck it anyway! I like all the pictures and am glad I never had to spend that much on a cartridge!

The second shot is my favorite too. I had no idea that you could spend that much money on an entire record player, let alone the needle! I don't think I will admit that I buy most of my music as MP3 downloads now.

The things audiophiles will buy. I tell ya, we have some stuff that I think is a joke. But you put a high price on it and call it audiophile, and they'll buy it.

I am not trying to advertise or anything, you just take a look at some of this equipment.

BTW, most of the images were taken by me. :-)

Holy crap, ya'll have a record player (sorry, turntable) that costs 3/4ths of what I paid for my first HOUSE about thirteen years ago. But I agree, if I could find someone happy to buy it, I sure would be happy to sell it!
