The temp seemed to be ok around freezing point. But the wind, thanks to somekind of a storm in NE U.S., was just atrocious.
That did not dampen the atmosphere

This fellow apparently feels cold and can't wait for a drink after the parade

Nice colors..

I missed the parade here in Savannah, Georgia (which claims to have the second largest St. Patrick's day parade in the U.S.).

I had my batteries charged and camera ready, coffee pot timer on the night before, and even got up and dressed by 6:00AM yesterday, sipping on coffee ready to go downtown.

The parade didn't begin until 10:00AM. However, due to the crowd, you have to get an early start if you want a good vantage point (and a good place to sit in a folding chair). lol

Unfortuntately, we had company and my wife asked me to stay home at the last minute since she had to work (and she didn't want to leave them alone, and they didn't want to go). Grrrrrrr Oh well, I'll try again next year. lol

Thanks for sharing some images from the parade in Toronto!

Love the pictures - the kids in the first one sure look cold! My favorite is the second one, or maybe the drum-major or the third one, or maybe I don't have a favorite. Looks like a fun time, even if it was so cold.

Great shots Daniel. It is always fun to take people pictures at a festival because people usually don't mind being photographed then. My Dad tried to take some pictures ofa line ofkids getting on a bus, someone complained and the next thing you know the police were at his door. All was well in the end, but he doesn't take any pictures of kids anymore.
