Well, I have finished culling and sorting the pics from the 12 Hours of Sebring. I rolled the K100d's odometer over for the first time as I passed the 10k picture mark. Once again, I mostly used the Tamron Adaptall SP 180mm f2.5 lens.

Ferrari, as requested. I had a hard time getting any decent shots below 1/350 shutter speed, but this one came out pretty good at 1/180.

This car ran in one of the smaller races earlier in the week. The crew was rebuilding it in the paddock area. This shot was with the Sigma 24-135mm.

As the race went on the cars started showing more damage.

The Audi diesel won again, for the eighth year straight. Interestingly, it is one of the quietest cars on the track. I drove the Audi #1 car's press manager around for a bit and got to talk photography, he had a Nikon and a 300mm f2.8.

Despite all of the really loud cars going around the track, this is what the 12 Hours of Sebring is REALLY about for most of the fans . . .

Sunday morning the track looked like a refugee camp for rich alcoholics with Maserattis.

This one was taken with the F 50mm 1.7. Thanks for looking,

Tim

Great shots. Looks like you got the Panning down cold. Keep up the good work.
