You are doing quite well with your lens/camera combo. All you have to do is learn your equipment to get good results with any lens. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful shots and I agree with Rudy and Hayward. The pro reviews of most of the super zooms, more than 4x or 5x, are usually negative, but good pictures with those lenses continually show up on this forum. While some of the longer range pictures will be a bit soft, if you didn't have that lens you wouldn't have them at all. Thank you for a look at Sri Lanka,it would be niceto see some more.Perhaps some of the culture and especially thefestivals andholidays.

Nice series. I especially like the image of the Stupa (nice composition with the moon in the background), and the king fisher (great DoF and color contrast between suject and background). Don't see birds with such vibrant colors in these parts! J

Fascinating birds - love the last one (always interesting to see new locations). It is interesting to see that you can get reasonable results with a lens that has such a poor reputation.
