Wild Turkey Time

I heard some hens on the other side of a pond I was close to so decided to check it out. I found some Tom's that were also interested in the hens talking. I was pretty lucky to be where I was as it looked to me like the Tom's would go thru some sunlight in between the trees on their way to check out the hens. Used a dead tree to set the camera on and now all I have to do is wait for them to come by.

I think he heard the shutter and came in closer to check out the noise.

I like the way the sun brought out all the different colors.

Wow..Absolutely "Gorgeous" images. Really 3D looking. I suspect you are getting your post prod chops down very nicely...

Great Framing as well. Like an Art Director "Jack Verger" I highly respected once told me. If you think your in too close or too tight, Come in Closer...

Best advice I ever got.

Thanks Ben for looking and commenting.

Thanks also for sharing what seems to be really good advice. I will give you one back that the best oudoorsman I ever met told me. When trying to stalk in closer go as slow as you can they cut that speed by 75%.

Not my favorite type of bird (unless on the table to be eaten!) but great shots. So sharp and full of detail.
