Well, went to the zoo (surprise, surprise) to test the new camera.

Took around 350 RAW images, only PP'd a dozen or so.

I wanted to try the birds in flight and panning, so watched the little falconry display.

Four pics, hope you enjoy - not perfect by the way.

Thanks for looking Ronny. Panning is so difficult these days - I used to be able to do this with my older cameras. Still a lot to re-learn.

My g/f has just asked me to point out that she has taken over the DL2 with the 2 kit lenses, and shot 300 shots in jpeg. This is her first venture into SLR photography, and she managed to get a lot of keepers. She would also like to point out that although she won't be joining the forum, she is already better than me at picture taking!

And I am still going to marry her!!!!!

Oh well.

In a month after 2nd K10D (ONE STOLEN ) Going on 3000 frames about the same ratio.... maybe 25% will get archived... tenth of that or less ever printed... spread.

A lots still experimental lets see how it (or new lens/filtier/etc) behhaves in this situation shots....

I think this is why she sometimes gets better pics than me. Put it into Autopic and shoot all day, changes lens once, and that is it. Me, I change setings and lenses all the time, trying out different techniques etc.

My excuse, and I'm sticking to it!

Very true, although to listen to her at first, it was the last thing she wanted. LOL
