I was out shooting some pictures yesterday and I had a lot of pictures that came out looking blury. Let me know if you all think it is me or the camera. The pictures were all taken handheld in "P" mode.



Pic below was with the kit lens

Some of the pictures that I did take came out good such as the one below. Ihopeit is something that I am doing wrong. Please help.

Not much wrong with these that I can see.

I would say though that the first one was shutter priority, which is not what you want for landscapes. Normally using aperature priority at f16 and above is necessary.

With the second one you are using the lens at the 300mm end, which is where they are a little soft.

I can't see anything wrong at all with these pictures, except #1 being a bit "high key" (very little of dark areas) and maybe a bit oversaturated for my taste. But blurry??

#2 is a very good picture, the owl well framed and a nice thin DOF, IMHO.
