I was thinking of something else, but today I happened to see this. It sure looks like a horse's eye to me. Roy - will this qualify?

P.S. Taken with the K100 and Phoenix 100mm macro.

Eye of the Needle.
this will probably change as i found out you really need 2 light sources. this is a full frame resize.



handheld using the 105mm macro at 1:1with 2x TC and 63mm of extention tubes. this rig is just shy of one foot long.


with the sensor being 23.5mm wide as compared to this ruler shot then the magnification is somewhere between 3:1 - 4:1.


here's a shot without the add ons. just 1:1... big difference

K100D with DA 50-200mm F4-5.6 lens @ 200mm, F8, ISO200, jpeg, +1 in camera sharpness, a bit cropped.
