chris, no offense meant in any way..

this is the first one of these i've been in. do you usually go the whole month?? when do you vote and how do you do it??

I am surprised too.
It is still April and voting should start May 1. If I recall correctly, quite a few entries came during the last few days of previous Monthly Challenges. Definitely we are overwhelmed by the quality of the entries that came in. OK. I go with the majority if it is shortened.

Fred, I am glad you got yours submitted, that is a most excellent frog. What lens were you using and how far away were you? Great shot.

Tim, thanks for the comment. This Frog was an excellent model. I was no more than one foot away from him. He also let my son pet him. If only all our subjects could be this cooperative!

Well, it's 30 minutes away from May 1st where I am so hope this will count. May not be able to get back for a few days. My vote goes to Fred's frog. That is a fantastic shot!
