Congratulations on being published - especially in government documents - something that future generations will beviewing. However, you should embed your copyright in all of your images EXIF information. Or at least embed your name - at some point one of your future descendants might want to research something along the lines of "I found this old PENTAX from 06 - it seems by great, great, great grand pappa thought he was a real photographer (what is that anyway) - did he ever publish anything else - and what are these DVD things?"

Every image should have at least your name if not your copyright - embedded in it. If the image is not traceable - then it goes into the public domain. You may not get any cash out of it - but you should get recognition. Nice work - shooting what some people think is mundane is very important for documenting history. (I have a degree in Anthropology - just think of the thingswe would know if someone had a camera along with Captain Cook)
