I speculated it was theme-related.

This proves it.

I'll see if I can get a fix

Hmm.

Fixed.

And just when I came up with my own workaround too.

Saved the account prefs edit page locally and replaced all the relative paths with absolute paths.....

so in theory, logged with your account on the unviewable page, you would open the saved prefs page thatloads the "shades" css file and, save with Shades selected, allowing you to browse once more

oh well

Ahhhh - I just waited until they fixed things. Just about every board I've been on has experienced problems at some time or other, and they always get it fixed. This one was faster than some boards I'm familiar with, so kudos for the folks at Steves for fixing it so fast!

Here is the fix in case it ever happens again - - unlikely.

1 - rename.txt to .htm
2 - login to your account
3 - Open fixpage in browser
4- Pick working theme, and save
Attached Files
File Type: txt my_account.php.txt (11.2 KB, 107 views)

The only thing that worked in the forums for me were the advertisements at the top!
