I told you I had a busy easter weekend - so here's the second post :-)

Utropia is a tropical garden (Middelburg-Zealand-Netherlands) where birds fly around your ears.
There idea is that the birds don't have to be caged.
The only drawback is that to put the birds a bit to rest they its rather dark inside.

Taken with K10d + kiron 105mm (fastest lens I had with me)

Enjoy - Ronny

Really nice series of beautiful birds! Could you do me a favour? Next time you go therre, could you try to find the namne (scientific) of the yellow/black bird in #3&4? It looks like some kind of a thrush, but I've never seen one before and I do think it is extraordinarily beautiful. Tropical birds happen to be another interest of mine (birds, plants, fishes, the tropics have fascinated me since childhood).

Lovely pictures, it's interesting to see how useful 1600 can be, where I didn't like it at all at first. These are beautiful.

Ronny - Do you have the latest firmware installed on your K10D? Those are some of the best ISO 1600 shots I have seen posted from a K10D. I wish my results were as good as yours.
