In daylight not a great difference but indoors under very low/avail light, it makes manual focusing a lot easier. Honestly I have not had hands on with a K100D so not sure exactly how much difference there is there, I'm judging more compared to other non pentaprism cameras I have used.

I have heard some mention having difficuly manual focusing in very low light situations with the 100D though.

Am still using my trusting old Ds. What I'd like to see is a larger buffer and a built-in AF-assist light like that which can be found on the Nikon bodies.
