Aren't Pigeons great practice since they seem to be always flying somewhere. Nice shots.

Very nice. 5 and 6 are particularly good. I prefer 6, but would like 5 a lot more if the one bird in the background was removed.

Very nice shots and, just to be different, I like #5 the best :G. Actually I do think #5 is the best but I would but #4 close behind it, you just caught the wings better in 5. What lens were you using?

Daniel, Roger, Corpsy and Tim, Thanks for the comments. I was using the *istDL with the DA 50-200 in allof them except #4 and #6 which were with the kit lens.

I've been busy, so just got around to looking at these. This is a nice series - there's something to like in just about all of them. I'm not crazy about the framing of the second one, but love the first one. The background in the 4th one lets it down - the pigeon is beautifully sharp, but doesn't stand out as much as it should because of the darker background. The 5th one is outstanding and ends up being my favorite with the first one. Well done!

Thanks for the comments Rodney and Mtngal. I agree about number 4. I wish Europeans didn't wear so much black!
