Hi. Wanted to post those earlier but couldn't get into the forums.

A few pictures from a visit to the Deser Botanical garden in Phoenix. All pictures taken with Kiron/Dine 105mm Macro. Most shots with tripod, except the Butterflies. I have also uploadedall images to Picasa where they can be seen as slideshow: http://picasaweb.google.com/wbphx357/BotanicalGarden3

Fantastic shots Hogrider.

Never thought of taking shots inside the butterflies wings.

The flowers are magnificent as well.

Surprised you were allowed a tripod though.

Kew Gardens in London is on our list of places to see this year. I hope mine are half as good as yours.

Thanks! They didn't allow setting up a tripod inside the Butterfly Pavilion - probably because the place is so crowded. Monopod use is allowed. There are no restrictions on tripodsin the rest of the garden.

Great shots as usual Will. The interior shot of the cactus flower is outstanding!

The bee and the butterfly are my favourites, but they all are great.
